The HV Diagnostics HVA28 can test up to 100,000 ft / 30 kms of cable (at reduced voltage and frequency). In addition to cables, this unit can test vacuum bottles, transformers, motors / generators, cable sheath/shields, etc.

The HV Diagnostics HVA28 is the smallest, lightest VLF/DC test instrument on the market. It is about as small as you can make it!

The patented cooling system and rugged molded case design makes this unit almost completely water proof. With a 28kV output, it can test all your 15kV rated cables and below according to IEEE400.2. Preconfigured and customizable automatic test sequences allow operators to perform accurate testing in the field. This minimizes mistakes and avoids unnecessarily over or under-stressing the electrical apparatus being testing.

An easy to use, menu driven, color LCD display allows the user to quickly and effortlessly perform testing in day or nighttime environments. All units come with free HVA Control Software and a calibration certificate. The system can be retrofitted with internal Tan Delta Diagnostics upgrade (as HVA28TD).
